WeHo Gives Back

A New Initiative to Help Small Businesses
Recover from the Los Angeles Wildfires

Donate

We Aim to Restore Foot Traffic, Provide Financial Relief, and Rally Community Support for Local Establishments.

Beginning March 1, 2025, WeHo Gives Back enables residents and visitors to easily make donations via QR codes that will be placed at participating businesses. Donations will go to a recovery fund to help businesses offset revenue losses, maintain operations, and retain employees. This initiative marks the first of many community-driven efforts by WHCC to ensure that West Hollywood’s vibrant local businesses continue to thrive.

Since the LA Wildfires...

Revenue has Declined 25-50% in Many WeHo Businesses, With Some Reporting up to 70%

Many WeHo Businesses Have had to Reduce Hours or Lay Off Employees

Restaurants, Bars, Hotels, and Retail Shops Have Been Hit the Hardest

Many Businesses Are Still Grappling with the Financial Toll Left From Covid

The West Hollywood Workforce...

...is composed of 26% hospitality workers, primarily employed by small businesses. These establishments, including hotels, form the foundation of the city’s economy, contributing an estimated 70% of its revenue. They play a vital role in shaping West Hollywood’s culture and tourism industries, with a portion of business tax revenue allocated to social services, community safety, and city infrastructure improvements.

The Heightened Economic Strain...

...underscores the need for community-driven support. WHCC

created WeHo Gives Backs to restore the reported 25 - 50% loss in foot traffic and raise vital funds, encouraging the public to shop, dine, and play in West Hollywood.

"The small businesses of West Hollywood are resilient, but they need our community’s support now more than ever. WeHo Gives Back is our way of ensuring these establishments receive the support they need to recover and thrive.”
