Looking to build upon original owner Loyd Tittle’s legacy of service to the community, pharmacist, Dr. Raja Sannidhi, along with business partner, Dr. Sudhir Reddy, acquired the local pharmacy in 2015 from Tittle’s sister Ruth, who believed that Sannidhi’s holistic approach to wellbeing would continue to benefit Capitol’s longtime customers. Of interest is the fact that when he took over the business, Sannidhi kept on all current employees, some of whom had worked there for over two decades, as well as kept Capitol Drugs a haven for patients with varying needs. (Excerpt written by Greg Firlotte, Author of From WeHo with Love: The History of West Hollywood, WHCC’s centennial coffee table book) Dr. Raja Sannidhi attended Long Island University of Pharmacy and graduated as Doctor of Pharmacy 2003.
Dr. Raja took over the family pharmacy business. In 2016 he, his wife, and two children moved to California to start a new chapter in their lives. He purchased Capitol Drugs located in West Hollywood CA in 2015. Not knowing what to expect, Dr. Raja soon came to learn about the LGBTQ culture and the diversity of West Hollywood. He quickly stepped up to the plate as the pharmacy owner and took over where the previous owner left off. Making sure of every detail, quality, and perfection, Dr. Raja fit perfectly into his new role as the Capitol Drugs pharmacy’s owner.
